Royal Kona Hotel is where we stayed this time around and the reason is very simple, it's walking distance to town. Overall the hotel is not bad but not great either but very convenient.

As the sunsets in Kailua-Kona there is a different feel and calmness that is not the same as Oahu. I love the ambience of this little town with little bit of everything we need and fun times for sure.


For the second day we will visit a beach perfect for photography and the town of Hilo, so stay tuned!!
